MRS KEEN'S AWESOME CLASS!!!

 Hey yo everyone so for a few weeks we have been doing art with mrs Keen's so I'm gonna tell what we did and how we did it!!

first we started with Flip books we made flip books and draw a picture on them everyday before we started our work,Mrs Keen put up a picture and we had to draw it.

We also did scenario choice I had me and Eunize. Our scenario was a alien who got lost on another planet and has to find it's way back to his home.The character I drew was so CUTEE! our two characters are called Chimmy, Miny and ding dong

Lastly we learned about camera angles like birds eye view,warms eye view and so many more we watched video about different camera angles.

It was REALLY FUN!! I hope you like it!!

Kupe and the giant wheke

 Hello everyone this week, we read about a legendary character called Kupe who found his fishing lines were empty because of a giant octopus who was eating all the fish. 

Main characters in the story are Kupe, his wife Hine-Te-Aparangi and Muturangi, the owner of Te Wheke  the giant octopus.

Kupe said he would kill Muturangi’s pet, Te Wheke. After that, the following things happened: Kupe returned home and told his wife what happened. A giant octopus can travel a long way. Kupe, Hine te Aparangi,and their children loaded up the waka with food and plantey of drinking water. They sailed far out to sea and dropped their fishing lines to tempt Te wheke to come closer. For weeks they chased Te wheke.

In the end, two major things happened. Hine-Te-Aparangi saw something unusual. It was Aotearoa AND Te Wheke was escaping but Kupe caught him and he died.
